Oopps on the job

Have you ever had an Oopps on the job? It is one of the most embarassing things that can happen to you in front of your co-workers and boss. Even more so if you just started that job. I had an oopps at a previous job. The HR manager asked me to shred some company checks because they were switching names and bank accounts. So I carried about 5 boxes over to the shredder and started going to town. It wasnt until later in the day that she discovered that I shredded the NEW checks not the OLD ones! Ooopps!!!! I was mortified to say the least. I dont know how much money I cost the company but I know I didnt leave them with a good first impression of me!
