Weekend Fun

We are finally settled in our new home we are slowly getting back into the regular routine of things. Friday night I went to the movies with mi madre and saw SATC (sex and the city). But I couldn't figure out if this was meant to be a movie or a porno! (Mom, close your eyes!) It was a great move & it was nice to have just me and mom time.
We spent Saturday morning in Wal-Mart buying things for the house...I hate these trips to the store because they always cost more than we budgeted for (sigh). In the afternoon we went to a graduation/birthday party which was really fun...it was nice to meet some new people and see our friends. Afterwards we picked up our siblings (ages 8, 10 and 13) for a sleepover in our new home. All I can say is that this is the best form of birth control EVER! I was subjected to watching Camp Rock and the Cheetah Girls all night...wahoo! Ever heard of the Jonas Brothers? No?...well be thankful for that!
Since we have been so busy, we found ourselves a little lost on Sunday with nothing to do saying "what are we going to do with ourselves?!" So after another costly trip to the store and working around the house for a little, we enjoyed dinner and drinks with our neighbors. We had a great time, they are so nice. I'm glad to have such great neighbors instead of the Bumpass's!
Oh...and my brother is on his first missions trip in Montana, so please pray for him to be safe. Thanks!
