Jackpot

Last night my husband and I stopped in to see his mother. It has been about 2 months since we have seen each other just because both of our familys are always so busy.

And just to set the story up let me explain that my husband comes from a 100% Italian family. His grandparents are straight from Italy. The whole nine yards and as you can imagine the family cooking is most wonderful.

So last night durring dinner my mother-in-law looks at me and says the magic words....

"Why dont you and Jeff come over for dinner on Wednesday night and I will make you some stuffed peppers"

***ding ding ding ding****

I just hit the jackpot

It pays to be a good daughter-in-law.

Nothing like moms cookng, especially and Italian one :-)

The best meal we make at home is my mom-in-laws meatballs, they are unbelievable.

I`m also with Hayley! My Mom`s meatball recipe is the best meal in the world and Hayley does it perfectly.

Hopefully when we move back to Johannesburg we`ll get more of those free meal invites!
